11/17/21 UPDATE: ENC Pride events will resume December 1st with the first event being our Holiday Drag Brunch on 12/18.
The community events calendar has also opened back up.
After many long discussions, the ENC Pride Board has made the difficult decision to suspend all scheduled events effective immediately due to the continuing rise of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Eastern North Carolina.
Out of an abundance of caution and consideration for our friends and family, we had to make this decision to protect our most vulnerable populations.
“We are very disappointed that we have to cancel our upcoming events including our festival. We have spent countless hours preparing for our festival this year, and last year. Unfortunately this decision had to be made. We think it’s the best decision to protect our community from the rising COVID-19 cases. We want everyone to stay safe and healthy so that we can all come together again when this pandemic is under control.” – Austin Moore ENC Pride President
The ENC Pride festival will be rescheduled for October 2022. The Mr. and Miss ENC Pride pageant will be rescheduled and brunch fundraisers will continue when COVID cases start to decrease in Eastern North Carolina.
Refunds for vendors, sponsors, and ticket holders will begin to be processed today. All refunds will be completed within a week. Please contact us with any concerns.
The ENC Pride Community Calendar will also temporarily be suspended.
We look forward to continuing our events once the Coronavirus outbreak has subsided. We will revisit this decision on October 15th.
