With guidance from other event organizers, the ENC Pride board has decided to postpone the ENC Pride festival in June (due to COVID-19 and the safety of attendees). In lieu of hosting a festival, the ENC Pride board will be hosting a smaller free event.
ENC Pride has tentative plans to host the first ENC Pride festival in October to celebrate LGBT history month. Going forward, ENC Pride’s festival will be in October instead of June.
As of right now, ENC Pride will be hosting 2 free drag brunches at The Herritage on June 20th to celebrate Pride Month. Tickets will still be required. If state regulations on bar occupancies change, the event may become 1 show.
This show will be hosted by Miss ENC Pride 2020/2021 Michelle Michaels with guest performers Mr. ENC Pride 2020/2021 Eli Stone, Miss North Carolina Gay Pride 2016 Amazing Grace and Miss North Carolina Gay Pride 2018 Veruca Salt.
