With great sadness, the ENC Pride board has made the decision to suspend all scheduled events due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
As of now, there has been no person in the immediate area with any symptoms of the virus, but out of an abundance of caution and consideration for our friends and family, we had to make this decision to protect our most vulnerable populations.
The LGBTQ+ community may be at a higher risk for COVID-19. An open letter about the virus and the LGBTQ+ communities has been signed by over 100 organizations outlining the added risk.
The difficult decision to cancel ENC Pride (June 20th) was agreed upon due to the cancellations of our upcoming fundraisers that were crucial to the event’s success.
Beginning today, we have started to plan ENC Pride 2021. Expect an even bigger and brighter event.
Refunds for vendors, sponsors, and ticket holders will begin to be processed today, March 13th. All refunds will be completed by March 18th. Please call us or email us with any concerns.
We look forward to continuing our fundraising for ENC Pride 2021 as soon as the Coronavirus outbreak has subsided.
Inspire ENC and ENC Pride stand by our mission of unifying the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies in Eastern North Carolina.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding,
Austin More
